Corn Tikki

Just Delish!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup boiled and crushed corn
  • 2 mashed potatoes
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium capsicum finely chopped
  • 1-2 bread slices into crumbs
  • 1/2 cup boiled corn
  • 2 tsp. chilli-ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp. besan (gram flour)
  • 1 tsp. chat masala
  • 1 tsp. garam masala
  • 1 tsp. aamchur powder
  • Salt as per taste

METHOD:

  1. Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients in it. Make a nice mixture. You can add more bread crumbs if the mixture is not binding together.
  2. Once you prepare the dough like mixture, roll them into balls to give it a shape of a tikki.
  3. Put oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is heated shallow fry the tikki on both the sides till it becomes nice and brown.
  4. Remove the tikkis in a serving plate.

Best when served hot with chutney or sauce of your choice. Enjoy the tikki with your near and dear ones.
