INGREDIENTS:
- 1 medium finely chopped onion
- 1 medium finely chopped tomato
- 10-12 garlic crushed
- 2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Haldi powder
- 1 cup Makai ka atta (Corn ka atta)
- 1 tsp Hing
- 1 tsp Ajwain seeds (Carom seeds)
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1.5 tsp Oil
METHOD:
- Put oil in a pan and put ajwain, mustard seeds and hing.
- After the mustard seeds splutter put crushed garlic. Saute for a minute then add chopped onion.
- Saute onion for about 1 – 2 minutes then add chopped tomatoes. Saute for another 2 minutes.
- Add red chilli powder, haldi powder and salt as per taste.
- Add water and let it boil.
- Now add Corn ka atta and mix it properly. Let it steam for about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove in a plate and let it cool.
- Knead a dough and make equal balls.
- Roll it gently in a round shape.
- Fry with little oil on tava like a thepla till slight brown.
- Serve hot with sauce.
