Jowar Thalipith

A Quick and Healthy Recipe!!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup jowari flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped spring onions
  • 2-3 tsp. red chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp. turmeric (haldi) powder
  • Salt as per taste

METHOD:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a vessel and add water as required to make a dough.
  2. The dough should neither be too hard nor too soft.
  3. Make equal balls of the dough.
  4. Apply some water on a plastic sheet.
  5. Take one ball of the dough and use your fingers to flatten it into a thick round shape.
  6. Shallow fry on a pan on medium-low heat. Cook untill light brown and crispy.

Serve hot with curds or homemade white butter (makhan).
