Mango Barfi

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5L full fat milk
  • Pulp of 3 mangoes
  • 1/4 tsp. alum
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Sliced pistachios

METHOD:

  1. In a heavy bottom vessel, add the milk
  2. Once the milk comes to a boil, add alum
  3. The milk will slowly start to curdle
  4. Once the milk has reduced in quantity, add the mango pulp and sugar
  5. Remove the barfi in a greased plate
  6. Garnish it with sliced pistachios
  7. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours
