INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5L full fat milk
- Pulp of 3 mangoes
- 1/4 tsp. alum
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Sliced pistachios
METHOD:
- In a heavy bottom vessel, add the milk
- Once the milk comes to a boil, add alum
- The milk will slowly start to curdle
- Once the milk has reduced in quantity, add the mango pulp and sugar
- Remove the barfi in a greased plate
- Garnish it with sliced pistachios
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours
