Holi special!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tbsp. fennel seeds
  • 7-8 almonds
  • 7-8 cashews
  • 1 tbsp. melon seeds
  • 1-2 tsp. elaichi powder
  • 1-2 tsp. black pepper kernels
  • 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
  • few saffron strands
  • 2 tbsp. gulkand
  • 500ml cold milk

METHOD:

  1. Once the pan is heated, turn off the heat and dry roast the ingredients (fennel seeds, almonds, cashews, melon seeds, black pepper kernels and poppy seeds)
  2. In a mixture, add the roasted ingredients, saffron and elaichi powder & crush into a powder (Note: you can also add nutmeg powder)
  3. Add gulkand and powder into the cold milk
  4. Using a hand blender,mix all the ingredients together
  5. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours
  6. Garnish with chopped pistachios or dried rose petals
