Holi special!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tbsp. fennel seeds
- 7-8 almonds
- 7-8 cashews
- 1 tbsp. melon seeds
- 1-2 tsp. elaichi powder
- 1-2 tsp. black pepper kernels
- 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
- few saffron strands
- 2 tbsp. gulkand
- 500ml cold milk
METHOD:
- Once the pan is heated, turn off the heat and dry roast the ingredients (fennel seeds, almonds, cashews, melon seeds, black pepper kernels and poppy seeds)
- In a mixture, add the roasted ingredients, saffron and elaichi powder & crush into a powder (Note: you can also add nutmeg powder)
- Add gulkand and powder into the cold milk
- Using a hand blender,mix all the ingredients together
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours
- Garnish with chopped pistachios or dried rose petals
