Eggless Pancakes

INGREDIENTS:

For Pancake Batter–

  • 100g whole wheat flour
  • 100g all purpose flour
  • 30g sugar
  • 360ml warm milk
  • 30g melted butter
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder

For Topping–

  • Butter and Maple Syrup/Honey
  • Nutella
  • Whipped Cream & Fresh Strawberries

METHOD:

For Pancakes–

  1. In a bowl, seive the dry ingredients together (whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt)
  2. Add the melted butter in the dry ingredients
  3. Add milk in two parts
  4. Whisk till no lumps are remaining (Note: Batter should be of flowing consistency)
  5. In a hot pan, pour some pancake batter
  6. Simmer for 4-5 minutes or till completely cooked
  7. Remove in a plate and use topping of your choice

For Topping–

  1. For Classic Pancakes, top with some butter and maple syrup/honey
  2. For Nutella Pancakes, top the pancakes with a spoonful of Nutella
  3. For Strawberry Pancakes, top with sweetened whipped cream and some fresh strawberries
