INGREDIENTS:
For Pancake Batter–
- 100g whole wheat flour
- 100g all purpose flour
- 30g sugar
- 360ml warm milk
- 30g melted butter
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
For Topping–
- Butter and Maple Syrup/Honey
- Nutella
- Whipped Cream & Fresh Strawberries
METHOD:
For Pancakes–
- In a bowl, seive the dry ingredients together (whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt)
- Add the melted butter in the dry ingredients
- Add milk in two parts
- Whisk till no lumps are remaining (Note: Batter should be of flowing consistency)
- In a hot pan, pour some pancake batter
- Simmer for 4-5 minutes or till completely cooked
- Remove in a plate and use topping of your choice
For Topping–
- For Classic Pancakes, top with some butter and maple syrup/honey
- For Nutella Pancakes, top the pancakes with a spoonful of Nutella
- For Strawberry Pancakes, top with sweetened whipped cream and some fresh strawberries
