Paneer Paratha

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup grated paneer
  • 1 small finely chopped onion
  • 1-2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • Wheat Chapati/Rotis dough for 2 parathas
  • Ghee (or oil)

METHOD:

For Paratha

  1. Put paneer in a cloth for about 30 minutes so that excess water is absorbed. Then grate it.
  2. Mix grated paneer, onion, coriander leaves and red chilli powder. Add salt as per taste.
  3. Now take a big chapati/roti dough ball and roll it into a thick roti.
  4. Stuff the paneer mixture and roll again into a paratha. (Note: Make the paneer stuffing just before making the paratha otherwise it becomes moist due to onion and salt)
  5. Roast the paratha in ghee or oil
  6. Best served with mint(phudina) raita.

For Mint/Phudina Raita

  1. Mix curds, dried or fresh mint leaves and chat masala.
