Homemade Mayonnaise Sandwich

INGREDIENTS:

For Homemade Mayonnaise

  • 1 cup Hung Curd
  • 1/2 tbsp. Mustard Sauce
  • 20-25 garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 tsp. Mixed Herbs
  • 1 tsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. powdered sugar

For Preparation

  • Homemade Mayonnaise
  • 2 medium Grated Carrot
  • 1/4 cup crushed/shredded Cabbage
  • 10-15 sliced Black Olives
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green capsicum
  • Bread Slices

METHOD:

For Hung Curd

  1. Hang curds in a cloth for 4-5 hours
  2. Keep it in the refrigerator so that it doesn’t get sour

For Homemade Mayonnaise

  1. Mix hung curd, mustard sauce, crushed garlic, mixed herbs, powdered sugar and olive oil. Add salt as per taste. (Note: This can also be used as salad dressing, spread etc.)

For Preparation

  1. For the filling, mix crushed cabbage, grated carrot, chopped capsicum and black olives into the homemade mayonnaise.
  2. Spread the filling between two bread slices to make a sandwich. (Note: Serve the sandwich immediately or else it will get soggy)
