Upvas Special!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Medium Potato – boiled & mashed
- 1/2 cup Soaked Sabudana (Sago)
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- Cornflour (for coating)
- 1/2 cup Grated Coconut
- 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup Groundnut powder
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp green chili paste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
METHOD:
For Stuffing:
- Mix grated coconut, groundnut powder, coriander leaves, green chili paste, sugar, lemon juice and add salt as per taste.
For Pattice:
- Now mix boiled and mashed potatoes, soaked sabudana, black pepper powder and salt as taste.
- Take a portion of potato mixture and make a round shape with your hands. Now put 1 tbsp of stuffing in the centre and roll it into a pattice shape.
- Apply cornflour on both sides of the pattice and then shallow fry.
- Serve with curds chutney. (Note: For Curds Chutney, mix coriander chutney, curds, salt and sugar)
