Stuffed Sabudana Pattice

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Medium Potato – boiled & mashed
  • 1/2 cup Soaked Sabudana (Sago)
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • Cornflour (for coating)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup Groundnut powder
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp green chili paste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

METHOD:

For Stuffing: 

  1. Mix grated coconut, groundnut powder, coriander leaves, green chili paste, sugar, lemon juice and add salt as per taste.

For Pattice:

  1. Now mix boiled and mashed potatoes, soaked sabudana, black pepper powder and salt as taste.
  2. Take a portion of potato mixture and make a round shape with your hands. Now put 1 tbsp of stuffing in the centre and roll it into a pattice shape.
  3. Apply cornflour on both sides of the pattice and then shallow fry.
  4. Serve with curds chutney. (Note:  For Curds Chutney, mix coriander chutney, curds, salt and sugar)
