Jowar/Bajra Methi Thepla

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Jowar or Bajra flour
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped Methi (Fenugreek) leaves
  • 1/2 cup Curds
  • 8-10 garlic crushed
  • 1 green chilli crushed
  • 2 tbsp Jaggery
  • Red chilli powder
  • Haldi / Turmeric powder
  • Carrom seeds / Ajwain
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1-2 tsp ghee

METHOD:

  1. Mix jaggery and curds (dissolve)
  2. Mix all the above ingredients and make a dough
  3. Make equal balls
  4. Roll each ball in a paratha shape
  5. Roast on a tawa using oil
  6. Apply ghee and serve hot with curds or pickle
